1. Enter the plate and state
That's all we need. We check it against the national register to confirm the vehicle exists and identify exactly what it is.
2. We query the official registries
Every check runs live against official Australian sources at the moment you ask. We never serve you a stored answer from an earlier search, whether yours or anyone else's.
3. You get a plain-English verdict
Each finding says what the registry holds, what it means for you as a buyer, and what to do about it. Download it as a PDF or come back to it in your account.
What happens when a registry is down?
We tell you. That check is marked as not completed, and it never counts as a pass. A check we couldn’t run is a question still open, not good news. We re-run it, usually within a day. If we can’t, somebody reviews what actually reached you and decides what you are owed, which may be all of what you paid or part of it, depending on how much of the report was delivered. We tell you which, and why.
