mycarcheck draws on official Australian vehicle registries. Reports describe what those registries hold at the time of the search. They are not a mechanical inspection and do not certify a vehicle’s condition.
A registration record shows who is responsible for a vehicle on the road, not who legally owns it. Whether money is owed on a vehicle is a separate question, answered by a PPSR search. Where a registry record itself is wrong, only the state or territory road authority that issued it can correct it. We cannot.
